Smart Shopping: GetPrice and UID focus the attention on the customer

Despite a relaunch, the conversion rate of the price comparison website getprice.com.au was unsatisfactory. What was the team supposed to do? New product concept for nurse call system by Ackermann clino

What leads usability engineers to hospitals and senior care facilities? The goal to develop a new product concept for a nurse call system together with Ackermann clino. The concept is based on an extensive evaluation of existing systems and a requirements analysis with doctors, nurses, maintenance staff, administrative staff, and patients.

Usability Testing for Amberlight and Microsoft: How do you want to watch TV today?

How do users evaluate the user experience of "Mediaroom", Microsoft's digital TV platform? To answer this question, Microsoft compared their platform with local competitors in several countries worldwide. The British company Amberlight carried out the comparison for Microsoft in Europe, and User Interface Design GmbH (UID) was responsible for analyzing T-Home Entertain in Germany, a service of Microsoft’s customer Deutsche Telekom.
